Vehicle Detail

This is a 1933 Ford 4 door "Bonnie & Clyde sedan. This is a 100% solid rust free original paint, interior & stock V-8 drivetrain all steel California beauty that was purchased from the original 86 year old owner 29 yrs ago. At that time a coat of Dupont urethane clear was applied over the original finish to preserve/protect it. The Ford was driven/enjoyed during the summer months in stock form up until approx. 7 years ago when the decision was made to mechanically upgrade the entire stock drivetrain/brakes while leaving the outstanding original body/interior & chrome original.A professionally rebuilt balanced/blueprinted Ford 302 V-8 with a very mild hydraulic cam,Motorsport cylinder heads and aluminum intake w/4bbl carburetor was used for the engine. The transmission is a C-4 automatic totally rebuilt to stock specs. The front steering/suspension was upgraded to a rack & pinion w/disc brakes using a Ford Mustang II. The Mustang rack is neatly mated to the original Ford steering column. The rear end is a 1957 Chevrolet w/ Posies rear leaf springs. Vehicle has hydraulic brakes all around w/a GM chassis mounted master cylinder w/push pedal. A chassis mounted electric fuel pump supplies the fuel.An electric fan cools a custom built radiator. All chrome smoothie rims w/nice real bias ply whitew walls. The interior/dash is 100% stock/original and in great condition. All the windows/door mechanisms work like they should including the cowl vent. During the upgrade a Gennie floor shifter was used and custom gauges were neatly installed in the cluster.Has nice sounding custom dual exhaust. The car runs/drives & stops excellent w/absolutely no issues.Everything works. Its tight as a drum wno rattles. It is very fast/responsive! I have put approx.5k miles since the upgrade w/no problems.Drive anywhere! This is one really nice professionally built 1933 Ford.
