Body off restoration completed in 2015. Car was rebuilt from the freshly powder coated chassis up.Almost every component under the car was replaced or refurbished including new independent suspension, fuel and brake lines,fuel tank, pump,starter,exhaust system ,calipers,alternator, wheels powder coated, rad recored ,new BFGoodrich tires,,new front clip, seats reconditioned (frame,foam and upgraded to leatherique).Matching numbers Engine and transmission were stripped, inspected, cleaned, painted and reassembled as had previously been rebuild so no work was deemed needed as this point. (I have separate receipts for this work not included in total below).Car was repainted in original Cortez Silver. Interior panels, (door skins , dash and side panels were refinished). New sound proofing and carpet set installed along with new storage unit. new Optima battery with new leads and cables. new weather stripping all around , new bumperettes, new rear wiring harness , new weather stripping and door seals ,many new actuators and wiper motor, new hooker headers,new holley manifold,new coil,new mallory distributor,new spark wires carb was rebuilt , new seat belts and probably plenty of other stuff I have missed ! This car starts up, runs properly, stops properly and is a huge amount of fun . Less than 1,000 miles since restoration it is beautiful. spent on restoration $26,000 original cost of car $14,000. Total spent $40,000.. Car has original protecto plate , tilt steering column and removable rear window, only thing that doesnt work is heater ( never bothered with it) and some of the fiber optics .Also the clock is very moody Happy to honestly answer questions and arrange inspection etc , but probably best to come and appreciate the car in person if possible..
