Hello, up for sale is my 2000 Audi S4. I’ve had this car since October of 2006, I bought it with approx 58k miles on it. I love this car and I hate to give it up, but the ol’ German car math got the best of me: house + wife + kids = no money for repairs! The engine runs well and the clutch is fine. QUATTRO is awesome on snowy roads. The two front wheels are brand new and all the tires have a lot of tread left. Just got the oil changed (full synthetic) 100 miles ago. All repairs and servicing to this car was done by Edge Motors in West Haverstraw, they are Audi specialists. Have had numerous repairs done there such as alternator, serpentine belt, master cylinder, brakes, timing belt, water pump, etc. I never did any performance mods and this was never a track car. So here’s the bad news. I will be as straightforward and thorough as I can.1. Car is a salvage title. Was told that the car was stolen and the theif stole the headlights and caused damage to front fenders and hood. Owner was able to total it and insurance company sold the car at auction. 2. Car does not have s4 headlights, they are A4 headlights retrofitted with HID bulb/ballast. They look pretty good. 3. Keyless entry doesn’t work.4. Catalytic converter doesn’t work. Throws a code.5. ABS module doesn’t work.6. Rear suspension needs replacing, one of the rear springs is broken.7. Brake lines will need replacing soon.8. Rear right caliper is seizing and needs replacement. 9. Instrument cluster LCD screen is unreadable. Please keep in mind, this car is 17 years old. There are plenty of blemishes and imperfections on the exterior and interior of the car. I make no claim that this car is in perfect condition. So that’s it. I need to get rid of this car. Highest bid wins. Good luck.
