Heralded as the best middle-weight sports bike of its day, the Daytona's growling 675cc triple motor produces massive amounts of torque at low RPMs and its narrow profile, light weight, and refined chassis add a level of capability not found on most machines in this class. The R model adds fully adjustable Ohlins forks, dual monoblock Brembo calipers, fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock, factory-installed quick shifter, slip assist clutch, LCD digital read out with adjustable shift lights and a lap timer, and carbon fiber accents throughout for lighter weight and strength. This bike has also been fitted with HeliBars excellent TracStar clip-ons as well as Knight Designs lowered foot pegs for an added level of adjustability.
