Everything new or rebuilt from front to rear, bottom to top! Great pains were taken to ensure this vehicle remained in its original condition (For example: all glass is original, engine was sent to a specialist to rebuild with poured bearings, no fiberglass was used anywhere) A Collector's Dream! Standard Features: 216 cid Straight Six Cylinder, 3-Speed Manual Transmission, Chrome (Whirlitzer) Grille, Two Tone Gold & Black Paint, Heater/Defroster, Dual Windshield Wipers, Crank Open Windshield, Louver Fresh Air Vent, Dual Tail Lights. Details: All of the frame, engine, transmission, differential, steering, axles and all the body supporting and ancillary elements were reused during restoration. The engine, transmission, differential, and brake system were all disassembled and rebuilt. The engine was specially rebuilt in Kentucky to use poured rod and crankshaft bearings. All seals, gaskets, and o-rings have been replaced. The total steel (no fiberglass here) body was completely and professionally stripped, primed and painted. Six coats paint, two coats clear-coat. In those instances where the original body parts could not be reused, they were replaced with NOS (new old stock) parts from “Chev’s of the 40’s”. Less than 300 miles since restoration. The engine serial number conforms with model and year for this pickup. The red oak bed was sealed with four coats and looks as good on the bottom as on the top. Upgrades: New tires, shock absorbers, air cleaner, seat belts and seat leather. Horn, rear tail lights, turn signals, four-way flashers, cab visors, and insulated cab have all been redone.
