I purchased this bike new in February of 2014. During this time I have put 9,458 miles on the bike. This individual bike has cruise control and 2 ride modes. At 5000 miles, the oil and filter were changed , as well as, the final drive unit fluid. At approximately 9000 miles, the bike received 2 new tires (Michelin Ankee IIIs). The bike was purchased with a 3 year, 36000 mile warranty. I assume that there are approximately 4 months left on the warranty which would transfer over to the new owner, but you would need to verify this with a BMW dealer. This GS has never been off road. The bike has never been dropped. Partly due to the accessories on this bike, it is by far, the most comfortable/GS I have ever had to ride long distances.( I have had numerous GS motorcycles). This bike is extremely comfortable. This bike runs as it should, and shifts as it was designed to do. I know of absolutely nothing wrong with the bike.
