This is my 1997 VW Jetta Trek. I'm the second owner. My cousin was the original owner. I bought it from him 7 years ago and up until a month ago it was my daily driver. The brake pedal went to the floor so the car will most likely need a new master cylinder. The car starts up right away every time and runs strong. It has a current PA inspection that's good until December. In addition to the master cylinder, there are rust holes in the passenger side rear floor and both inner rockers that will need to be fixed for it to pass inspection. The last few pictures are of these rust areas. Whenever it rains the trunk leaks. It could be from the weatherstripping or from the rear wing. The power sunroof works and doesn't leak. The radio doesn't work and the power door locks don't either. The car does have A/C but there is a leak at the condenser. The driver side door lock is broken. The check engine light is not on. The airbag light is. I don't know why. There is an aftermarket oil pressure sending unit and it causes the oil pressure light to flash but the oil pressure is fine. The back window and rear door windows are tinted. The front door windows are not. There is a trunk mounted 6 disc CD changer. The Trek interior is in decent condition but it does have a hole in the driver seat. The odometer shows 144400 miles but it is incorrect. There was a time when the odometer didn't work so the actual mileage is unknown. The engine was tuned up in January and runs great. They do work if you pump them. If you don't, the pedal occasionally goes to the floor.
