Vehicle overview: I'm a car/motorcycle/airplane collector, I ONLY collect vehicles that are going up in value and will continue to, including: air cooled Porsche's, BMW M's, select Mercedes AMG's, vintage Harley's as well as vintage aircraft.. I like to buy and sell cars and probably my favorite is the FJ's. (I've owned several going all the way back to my first high school vehicle)... This FJ was one of my "Keepers", meaning one that I did not plan on selling. But an amazing barn find changed that, I found a 74 FJ with 14,000 original miles so..... That said, this one is going to make someone else, very, very happy as this is one of the cleanest FJ's in the country. This 75 Landcruiser went thru a multi-year "Frame off" (see pictures) restoration. I purchased it at my local airport. A "very meticulous" aircraft designer/builder has worked on this FJ for several years in his hanger This vehicle is being offered in a nearly stock configuration. The original frame and engine had 98 K miles (as noted on the original speedometer/odometer), see pics. Nearly every inch/component of this vehicle has been meticulously restored and or replaced. (see pictures of frame off restoration. This FJ is powered by the original 2F engine with the 4 speed transmission. The engine purrs as new and the transmission is silky smooth. New Dash pad, IDIDIT 30" steering wheel with tilt and set up to add cruise control, Saginaw Power Steering added, Ran-RS5113 Rancho shocks, new U-bolt kit set, Suspension kit, front shackle flip, SR-180-8 Warrior system front shackle extension and steering correction kit, Toyota "Lean Plate" added to correct FJ40 leaning tendency, all new Warn 4 wheel drive front hubs, Super knuckle kit for hubs and wheels, New spring shackles with greasable bushings, new clutch master cylinder, heavy duty clutch, clutch throw out bearing, new U joints......This is nearly a NEW vehicle and in many ways better than the original....... Note: Documents/Receipts regarding this restoration included. Also have boxes and boxes of manuals and extra parts including most of the original replaced components. In case you missed it above, I also have an extra set of Over-sized aluminum wheels and tires (included) if you prefer that look... Exterior: Not Concurs but one of the straightest best looking in the country. The body is show quality as seen by the original OEM spots welds that are the key indicator that the body is near perfect. Warn XD9000I warn winch with remote control, brand new OEM wheels and rubber, All new weather stripping and all lighting works as new. Frame off restoration tells the story.....see pics Interior: Pictures tell the story but send an expert to check it out....Nearly perfect in every way...including front and back seats, all controls and knobs, door panels and floor mats.....it's a beauty! Don't pay a few thousand dollars less for a lesser FJ..... This one is worth it.....add up the new parts list above and decide for yourself...................... Mechanical: As noted by the parts list above; nearly everything mechanical is new or has been totally refurbished over the coarse of the multi-year restoration.....the last finishing touches were the brand new Optima battery and the brand new OEW wheels and rubber Enjoy all the "Head Turns" in the Old School 4X while appreciating the new power steering and 4 wheel disk brakes..............a perfect blend of old and new!
