2005 BMW X5 3.0 NO RESERVE AUCTION I purchased this vehicle at a Manheim Dealers Auction for my son and he decided that he would rather have a Jeep. If you know anything about this model of BMW, it is that they are legendary for speed, torque, a ton of amenities but also a few quirks. This one has it all. Full length sunroof, heated leather seats, all power adjustable seats, auto adjusting mirrors and many other nice options. The paint and body on this one is in good condition with a few spots that could use some attention if it bothered you. When I purchased it was making a rattling sound in the front end. I took it to my mechanic and he diagnosed it with a bad front differential. This is quite common and one of the quirks of the 05 BMW X5’s and he said it likely need it replaced again if I was to replace it. As a result I decided to forgo having AWD and had him convert it to a 2wd so I wouldn’t have this problem again. It still has plenty of power and will actually get better gas mileage. Another issue with it is that one of the hid headlight bulb needs to be replaced and for some reason the passenger side rear door isn’t opening the window rolls up fine and it has a check brake lining. Please keep in mind that it is 12 years old and is not perfect by any means. It will need some TLC to get it back to its glory days. The interior is remarkably nice for its age. This is a non-reserve action, highest bidder will win this BMW x5. As with every used car in has no warranties expresses or implied.
