2001 Suzuki Hayabusa Burgundy and Black. *mileage is not accurate on bike. I purchased the bike from a motorcycle shop in 2003. The bike had been stolen and stripped of everything but the frame and motor. Insurance scrapped it and that shop purchased it and replaced all the missing parts and sold the bike. The gauge display is not original but read 2,129 when I purchased it. Now the odometer reads 28,393 so that is the mileage that I have put on the bike. Now that's over with on to the bike. It has a polished frame and swing arm (done before I purchased the bike). Full Yoshimura exhaust and headers with a K&N air filter. Other than that the bike is stock. In 2004 the bike was laid over after hitting a deer on the highway. Didn't do major damage, plastics and paint. Had bike repaired and repainted to current color (was originally Silver and Grey). This bike needs a little work and TLC and be back on the road again. It hasn't been on the road in over 2 years so it needs a new battery and fresh gas. I have recently cranked the motorcycle with a battery booster and the engine runs fine. There is a leak in the clutch system somewhere. Didn't tear into it to find out what was going on. Also the headlight mounting bracket has broken free from the upper fairing on the top side (can see the separation in the pictures). Has some minor scratches in the paint. Hate to see it wasting away in a building so it's now for sale. Will make a nice bike for someone, it has served me well. Any questions just ask I'll answer them the best I can.
