My husband is selling his 1967 Mustang Coupe. This classic beauty has been lovingly cared for and garaged since inheriting it after the passing of a relative. Our family was not expecting this generous gift and we simply don’t have the time to complete restoration (although minimal is needed.) The car is in running condition, but needs some fine-tuning. The original purchase location was California. ALL receipts and original owner’s manual/paperwork, along with accompanying documentation has been maintained through the years. NO Bondo on this car! The exterior is a painted blue with a black vinyl hardtop. The all-black interior is in great condition and the interior door panels are new. The only cosmetic issue is the roof headliner, which was removed because gravity had taken its toll. The 289 V2 V8 engine has been upgraded to aluminum heads due to California emissions regulations (Edelbrock Power Package Top-End Kit, Holley Carburetor, Patriot long tube headers with Flowmaster American Thunder Exhaust Kit-needs to be welded but currently clamped, and MSD coil.) The transmission is a C4 Automatic with power steering. The front brakes have been upgraded to discs and power breaks, with the rear brakes being drum. In addition, a front suspension kit was replaced and upgraded, but not aligned. Odometer/Title reads 170,554 miles. Pirelli tires (235/55R17) and upgraded rims perform and shine! 8” rear-end with axle 2.79:1 Conventional. Driver-side floor panel needs new floor pan due to small weakened area. It appears the front clip was removed at some point by a previous owner, but wasn’t aligned correctly. This care is in running condition, but needs some fine-tuning to be road-ready.
