Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is a very well preserved example of the first year the Grand National made it's debue with a turbocharged engine.this was the car that started it all. This was the foundation that evolved to the later intercooled versions and then the 547 corvette killing GNX's in later years. 2000 of the 1984 GNs were produced. Reportedly around 200 of them had the CC1 hatch roof option. This car is a survivor of it's time. I purchased it from a family friend's small car collection. When I got the car it's registration hadn't been renewed since 2011. It was mainly taken to car shows a few times a year. It was started once a week and ran so the fuel system was never an issue. A few items I addressed right away are as follows; Battery, Plugs, Wires, Fuel Filter, Air Filter, Hood Struts, Changed and Checked all Fluids, Front Pads, Rear Drums(still have factory aluminum). I sent the digital dash out to Casper's Electronics and had it gone through and upgraded with the 199 mph chip. I also replaced the factory Vector style 15" factory wheels which will be included with car. The wheels are GM factory 16" non dimple (pre 88 I believe) off a GTA. 2 fronts and 2 rears with the factory spacers. The car is solid and rust free. The t-top "t bar", quarter windows, rockers, quarters, wheel wells, all are clean and in very nice shape. The car's paint is Driver quality. The paint on the hood has some cracking from the heat. Both doors have some dings, and a little corrosion on passenger door bottom. The car is very straight and panels are all aligned properly. The car runs and drives very well. Idles nice, no misfires, shifts through all gears, drives down the road very smooth with plenty of power. The interior is in Amazing original condition!! No rips or stains in the one year run "Lear Siegler" edition seats. Carpet, headliner, interior plastics are near perfect condition. Door panels, center console, dash are all very well preserved. Once you see this car in person you will know it spent most of it's days inside. Ask yourself, " Do I want an all original, factory correct, very low production 80's American icon?" If your leaning toward yes, this car is the one you've been waiting for!! $500.00 dollar deposit due immediately after auction to winning bidder. Bid with confidence Low reserve !!! On Sep-06-17 at 18:24:37 PDT, seller added the following information: The 16" tires that are currently on the car are brand new. 245/50/16 Hancook's front and rear. A few more items beside the factory wheels that will be included are the factory t-top covers in very nice shape, car cover, and oem Buick mud flaps.
