1995 2 owner car. Aproximately 37,200 miles on it. Don't understand why CarFax won't come up - the VIN is verified correct. I had the cylinder head gasket and the vegetable (soy) based wiring harness replaced by Mercedes Dealer (work remains in warranty), installed 4 new tires as the originals were (duh) original and were too old to be safe, replaced the wiper blades, and changed all the fluids. ASR light comes and goes - probably requires new controller (about $1000). Excellent condition. Garaged all it's life and it shows. Original manuals, original air deflector for use behind front seats, two keys, great driver. I purchased it because it was clearly able to become a #1 concourse car. About $1800 more will do it - at which point Hagerty considers it worth $25,600. Medical issues require sale. Fair starting price, no reserve. From long experience I know how these auctions work - so low starting price and hoping it brings what it should. You are encouraged to examine the car in person. Ask questions. Sale is final and no refunds. Sold as is, where is. Get your ducks in a row before bidding. $500 deposit via PayPal within 24 hours of auction close. Balance within 7 calendar days in cash, wire transfer, or official check via FedEx from a major bank (i.e. BoA, Citi, Chase, WF or the like). If you wish to pay balance via PayPal, add 5% for fees - basically I don't want the balance paid that way so the fee structure is to allow it but discourage it. Once your funds clear (yes - that means cashier's checks too) I will FedEx overnight afternoon or hand you in person (your choice) the title and bill of sale and you may take possession of car. You must pick up car or have it transported at your expense and arrangement within 2 weeks. After that it will incur a $150 / month (or partial month) storage fee - as that's what it costs me.
