Salvage

Bike has a salvage title where it was laid down in a field while avoiding a collision with a deer. It was totalled out because of how much OEM parts cost. However, All the damaged parts have been replaced, though most of the damage was cosmetic. I can provide all pictures and receipts for parts, which you will likely need if you plan to get the title rebuilt. I've put about 2000 miles on it since it was repaired, and it runs as strong as ever! Oil and filter were changed before I started riding it again. I always use Castrol Power RS Racing 4T 10W40 Full Synthetic with K&N filter, as well as premium unleaded gas. It has all new plastic, stay bracket, windscreen, and mirrors. The right pegs and rear brake lever assembly also had to be replaced. The front brake lever on the handlebar broke in half, but it still works, pretty much the only thing it needs to pass inspection. Mechanically the bike is good to go. It runs excellent! None of the mechanics or internals of the bike were affected by the crash, but there is a little bit of clutch noise on start up, but goes away once the bike warms up. Brakes and tires are also in great shape! The only other note about the bike is that the paint on the nose fairing doesn't have as much clear coat as the rest of the plastic. I painted that piece myself and I couldn't quite get it to match perfectly. See the pics for yourself. It still looks good and gets lots of compliments! The bike is mostly stock, but does have aftermarket exhaust (Leo Vince SBK), integrated rear brake light / turnsignals, and flush mount turn signals on the front.
