Our 1996 Cadillac Deville has been a reliable vehicle up until about 3 months ago when it was struck by a large bird that took off the driver's side mirror. Not long after that it began to overheat. Took it to a local, yokel, shop that put a new radiator in it to fix is, it didn't. I personally put a new water pump impeller in it. Now it loses coolant via the reservoir overflow hose....go figure. Stilll a local daily driver, here is the good and the bad: BAD: Slowly looses coolant* Has moderate overheat issues but that fluctuates wildly* missing driver's side mirror* small body molding damage between doors* small pieces of trim missing on exterior* no spare tire* power radio antenna does not retract (does not effect radio) * Cruise control works intermittently* auto dimming mirrors not working. THE GOOD: Still a nice running car*A/C works and is cold* nice interior* comfortable ride.
