Mixed feelings about offering my 4Runner for sale. I am the second owner. This has been an exceptional vehicle that has done absolutely everything that has been asked of it. No issues whatsoever. Dealer serviced. I replaced a headlight bulb. That's all it has needed outside of the routine scheduled service. If you know the 4th generation 4Runner at all, you know that it was the only version offered with the V8 engine. It's an amazing engine that is smooth and has loads of torque. Suprisingly, the fuel mileage isn't much different than the less powerful and less refined V6. Both the V8 and V6 are known for their durability and reliability. 400k miles will be no problem. This 4Runner has all that you could need in an SUV. This true body on frame SUV is comfortable on road or off thanks to its unique XREAS suspension. I never did any serious off-roading (gravel trails on 2 occasions), but it's clear that this would be a monster. School runs, grocery getting, urban commutes over rutted roads, shopping malls, long road-trips -- this 4Runner handles it all with ease. This particular 4Runner is Mica Gray Metallic and has custom black leather (not sure that it's genuine leather) seat covers with 2 stage heating elements. Not something you see on the Sport Edition (with hood scoop) since they came only with cloth interiors. Even the Limited 4Runners came with light colored leather. This combo is far nicer. The Sport Edition also has sturdy roof rails and beefy running boards / nerf bars. This particular 4Runner has an anthracite headliner and no sunroof (more headroom). It is equipped with a tow hitch for towing up to 7700 lbs or for just your bike rack. It's an awesome vehicle and I will miss it. Everything on the vehicle works as it's supposed to. No immediate needs. AC will freeze you out. Seat heaters will toast you. Use them simultaneously and you will make it rain inside the car (joking). Selling with NO RESERVE. Good luck!
