I got this car as part of a collection of other Mercedes, I don't know a whole lot about it and it didn't come with service records. I spent a couple of days driving it to get to know it and here are my impressions: The car starts up easily and doesn't have a lot of smoke for a diesel. Makes good power, feels more like a gas engine than a diesel. Shifts, brakes, and handles well, I haven't noticed any problems there. Has a dent on the driver's door and some touched up areas of paint, otherwise appears to be original paint. Glass is all good. Wheels and tires are in good condition. Speedometer is in KM - 231K equals about 144K miles. All gauges work, the car shows good oil pressure and stable running temperatures. Vacuum door locks work. The radio works but the power antenna does not. Sunroof works but the tilt function doesn't. Power windows all work. AC is not blowing cold, and the climate control doesn't deliver heat. A heater valve for the engine bay was included, I don't know if that would fix it or not. Fan and plenum positioning works. Clean and clear California state title.
