1973 DATSUN 240Z (Manual) This is a non-running project car, so please read all the details below.We are only limited to posting 24 photos.THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD “AS IS”. ALL SALES FINAL.DETAILS: This ALL original 240Z has been in storage for the past 17 years and is equipped with a manual transmission, dealer installed A/C, and bumper override. This was originally an Arizona car and now resides in the St. Louis MO area. ENGINE: The engine needs to be overhauled since the compression in most of the cylinders is way too low.MECHANICAL: A new battery was installed a year ago. Since the car is not running, we were not able to test the drivetrain, suspension and brakes. The brakes appear to be seized because system will need to be flushed and the pads replaced.INTERIOR: The dash has cracks, as almost all 240Zs have. The seat covers, carpet, door cards (skins), and headliner also need to be replaced.EXTERIOR: The overall condition of the body and chrome ranges from very good to excellent for a 44-yr old car. There is surface rust on the hood and right side of car; and some rust in the side rails. No rust is visible at all on the floor boards and in the hatch area of this car.PAINT: The factory color was Green Metallic 113, but the original owner painted the car white (engine bay, spare tire area, and floor pans still show green).MOST of the parts on this car can be replaced by purchasing from online Z stores. TIRES: The tires are very old and have leaks, so they will need to be replaced.OPTIONAL: If you add $300 more to your final balance, we can mount new balanced tires on the existing wheels before shipping out (185/75R14 Hankook Optimo H724). PAYMENT:A non-refundable $500 deposit is required within 24 hours of the close of this auction. The balance of the final payment is due within 3 days in order to give you enough time to make arrangements with your bank or other lender. PICK UP / SHIPPING:Contrary to what eBay displays for shipping description, we will only ship this vehicle within the USA or Canada.
