1978 Cb550 K 7,916 miles, all original except for the rear turn signals and fuse box. (I have the original pair in a box)Every single bolt and nut is original from the factory and the bike has been truly babied.Purchased at Honda in Hickville, Long Island, NY in 1978. One owner.It was seldom ridden over the years and served as a weekend toy, not a daily commuter. It has been sitting indoors in my workplace which is a warehouse due to an electrical problem.Turns out it was the fuse box and it has been upgraded to an oe blade type fuse box this year, in 2017.The tank and carbs have been completely drained for storage and it was kept bome dry. I had a specialty vintage motorcycle mechanic do the ignition timing, air filter, oil filter / oil, fuse box, Valve clearances, and carburetor sync performed on this motorcycle in june of 2017. Most of the rust comes off with my fingernail, and none of it has penetrated through the metal. The bike runs and handles beautifully. You'd be amazed its from the 70's. It has been hand polished over the years but never hosed down or power washed. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Thank you.
