I am re-listing this classic bike because I realize it takes time for the right person to see something of interest and want to add it to their collection, a 10-day auction was not enough exposure. I know the end of summer is not the ideal time to sell a motorcycle but I didn't want to store it for the winter, somebody down south can enjoy this beauty year-round and get a good deal. This is not your father's Goldwing! It just doesn't get any more cool than this one of a kind vintage motorcycle. It is a complete custom "Boxer" style bike that runs and rides like a top. Please look closely at all of the pictures because they are the best description. I bought this from a gentleman who had the bike done 8 years ago. It has only had 2824 miles since then. It had 60,000 miles when he had it re-done. The motor was not rebuilt but he did change the timing belts and gears. The bike runs like a sewing machine and fires right up with the normal puff of smoke for a Goldwing. He had the fork raked out 4", both fenders have been fabricated as has the headlight nacelle, handlebars, windshield, and exhaust bracket. Wheels are painted silver and I think he said he had to make the back wheel as well. He nicknamed the bike "Jolly Mil" because mil is Latin for 1000, kinda cool, the gold emblems on the valve covers are engraved to show this. The ignition switch was moved to the right side, the choke to the left side and he installed a switch to operate the fan (I flip it on in the video). Many many fabricating hours were put into this motorcycle and it shows. The engine and transmission have not been modified other than converting to electronic ignition. I have a clear Indiana title where he purchased it in 1995 showing 30,662 actual miles. He won several shows with the bike and you can see why. If you like Honda's, or just cool motorcycles in general, and you want a Wing like no other, this bike will fit you nicely, without breaking the bank. It is not perfect, but close, there are 4-5 tiny spots or nicks. Sold as-is. I took the first bunch of pictures in the early morning, the last six closer to noon. Deposit is non-refundable for those that don't follow through, but if you don't want the bike when you come to get it I will refund the deposit.
