Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a rare find. This is my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD. I ordered it new in 2007 with every available option including dual alternators, power sliding rear window, DVD entertainment system, Leather, Trailer controller, Heated washer fluid and Cargo management system. I then added a LINEX spray-in bed liner the same week. Leather seats have been treated and it gets detailed and clay barred annually. It has less than 57000 original miles. Mileage will change as truck is still being driven. Oil changed every 3K miles. I'm only selling because we sold our camper and it's no longer needed. This truck has the best of everything and was tastefully upgraded over the years. I have added front and rear Winch-Ready custom bumpers. The front has a WARN POWERPLANT 12K LB winch with built in air compressor. It has only been used a couple of times. The rear bumper still retains the factory backup sensors and neatly hides a SUPERWINCH 10K winch with synthetic line. A custom flip up license plate mount conceals it nicely. Also upgraded is the rear sway bar and a heavy duty front sway bar was added; both from HELLWIG. This increased handling and trailer towing considerably. At the same time, HELLWIG rear air bags were installed to level heavy loads. It is the top-of-the-line system with on board air compressor and air tank (second one) and is Auto-Levelling). There is also a BRAND NEW TRANSFER-FLOW 45 Gallon replacement diesel fuel tank. This is the upgraded model which is coated against corrosion. Brakes were replaced with SSBC (Stainless Steel Brake Corp) Big Bite cross-drilled and slotted rotors and calipers. The truck was just deleted and an MBRP Turbo-back exhaust hung. A Mild EFI tune was added via AUTOCAL and an EDGE INSIGHT installed as well. DSP5 switch installed on the dash. This is the ultimate setup. NO coal rolling from this truck. I have the EGR delete kit, but have not had time to get it installed. This truck was featured in Truck Trends 8 Lug Heavy Duty Truck Magazine for several of the mods. They can be found here: http://www.trucktrend.com/how-to/paint-body/1210-8l-winch-time-ultimate-tow-and-work-truck-upgrades/ http://www.trucktrend.com/how-to/engine/1204-8l-transfer-flow-replacement-fuel-tank/ http://www.trucktrend.com/how-to/chassis-suspension/1101-8l-2008-chevy-silverado-2500hd-buildup/ Truck is rolling on H2 factory optional 20" rims and BF Goodrich All Terrain Kevlars in 285 size. The odometer reads correct. Factory running boards are still there, but the paint is starting to peel. The entire underside of the truck was sanded, prepped and painted. Factory Class IV hitch is still there. Steering wheel upgraded to a Grant which retails all steering wheel controls. I upgraded the steering wheel trim inserts to Escalade ones that match the brushed stainless interior accents. Looks great. Rear camera was not available this model year, I added it and it works just as the factory one should. BCM was flashed to activate so the image appears on the Navigation screen. Bluetooth phone connectivity was also not available that year, so I added that too by ordering a replacement module and steering wheel button; works just like factory. Tail lights were upgraded to LED and the headlights were upgraded as well. Needs a couple of things: Has a Gator bed cover which was purchased last year, was very expensive, but is crap. One corner is sagging a bit and it's only a matter of time before it needs to be replaced. Mfg refuses to warranty it. I'll never buy from them again. The outside ambient temperature sensor appears to be bad as it shows incorrect temps or OC for Open Circuit. Hopefully I will get to this before the truck sells. The sensors are only a few bucks. Could use another detail; if weather improves, I'll get it done. I'm sure I'm forgetting something, but I've been as up front as I can. Truck is awesome; a beast and runs perfectly, but it is going on 10 years old and is not brand new, so don't expect it to be. I feel it is better than what a 10 year old truck would look like. Some pics are sideways; I tried to fix, but cannot. If you have any questions or want specific pics let me know. I have a binder full of records and receipts; truck was dealer serviced for most of it's life and under the GM extended warranty until recently so it got whatever it needed. I am also including a WESTERN WIDEOUT snow plow. This is a high end snow plow that expands from 8 to 10 feet. Much more efficient than a straight blade. Custom plow mounts were fabricated to make the plow fit properly with the winch bumper. Everything professionally done and looks factory. Plow was just refurbished last year and has all new hoses and paint, etc. The truck is sold as-is, where-is and you must pick it up. I am in Rockville, MD which is is the MD/DC/VA are, close to the Nations Capitol. Fly in and drive it home; I would drive this truck anywhere. I will NOT ship this truck, but will work with your shipper as best I can. Truck will be paid for in full before it leaves my possession. I have a clean title in hand. Cash is king, but we can work on other methods. A non-refundable $1000 down payment is due within 24hrs of auction close to show your good faith. Truck is listed locally, so if it sells here, I will cancel this auction immediately and without warning so don't wait until the last minute. Use the Buy It Now and it's yours.
