Up for sale is my 1970 GMC pickup. I have owned this truck for 8 years. The front clip was replaced a few years back with one from a 70 Chevrolet(all I could find). The auction page won`t let me list as GMC. It has recently been torn down / repainted and freshened up. It runs, drives, and stops fine. 350 4 barrel with 350 turbo auto trans. This vintage truck has manual brakes and steering. Engine was rebuilt in the past and does not smoke or burn oil. Head, turn, tail, brake, backup, and dome lights work. Wipers work, all gauges work except the temp. The horn and E-brake were disconnected at some point. This truck was torn down to the frame last fall and gone over throughout the winter. This was a long bed truck originally and the frame shortened the correct way(step cut under cab, welds can be seen in photos). It has a Complete New bed from tailgate to front panel. The rocker panels and pass side cab corner were replaced along with the inner front fenders. The body is painted in base / clear, the clear is the matte finish style. The grille and all moldings are original 70 with new chrome bumpers. The truck has been lowered 2 1/2 front and 5 in rear. The master cyl, brakes, brake hoses, and all steel brake lines were replaced. Steel lines from inline tube were bought pre-bent with all connections as per original. Engine has new hoses, radiator, water pump, thermostat, battery, and heater core. Engine converted to HEI ignition. This truck still has its original seat cover(worn but not worth replacing), carpet, and door panels. This has been a very well taken care of truck. I cannot verify the miles as only 61xxx but the seat cover doesn't show it. Please ask any??? I know I have forgotten something!! I prefer cash in hand upon pick up.
