Purchased demonstrator in October 1959, the 1959 MGA 1500 has been in the same family for fifty- eight years. The original sales receipt is available, and there is a clear title. The car is in fair condition, with some surface rust on the exterior, and in engine and trunk compartments. Interior restoration required. The original engine was replaced with a 1973 rebuilt MGB engine, and there are currently 20,700 actual miles on the replacement engine. Major mechanical maintenance was completed in May 2017, and included complete tune up, restoration of brake system, restoration of suspension/steering system, rear differential service, and oil change. The detailed service invoice is available. The convertible top is new, installed in April 2017, and there is tonneau cover. New battery was installed in January 2015, and new tires in May 2016.
