Vehicle Detail

Triumph launched the first new Bonneville for 15 years at the Munich Motorcycle Show in September 2000, with a 790 cc, 360-degree crank, parallel-twin engine. Custom "Tiki" paint job by Legendary pinstriper and airbrush artist Bob Spina. This bike was built up Rikki Rockett and signed by Rikki Rockett and Bob Spina. It was then put on display at Von Dutch in Hollywood, CA. Nicholas Cage purchased the bike and then stored in with his collection of cars and bikes. I purchased from Nicholas in 2007 and kept in on display in my shop in Hollywood, CA. Currently registered in Oregon but all paperwork including original the title in Nicholas Cages name are included. Recently gone through. Runs excellent and is truly a one of kind find. Yes, this was indeed owned by Nicolas Cage the actor. Rikki Rockett (drummer for Poison) customized the bike, displayed it at Von Dutch in Hollywood and that's when Nic. saw it and had to have it. I was friends with the man who took care of his car/motorcycle collection at a local airport hanger where the rich keep their toys. There was a time when Nic was downsizing his collection and selling off all his bikes. I went to look at a Ducati 748 but left with the Triumph as the perfect show piece for my leather accessories store. You can check out Red Monkey Designs to see that I have been in business for 22 years.I applied for a lost title so I could keep the original plate/title in Nicolas's name. (Which of course go with the sale of the bike) Usually these kinds of items are registered in the celebrities’ management companies’ name. So the fact that they were in his name only added to uniqueness of this bike.
