This is an actual barn find American Eagle 238. It was raced back in the 70's, parked, and here it is. My Dad bought it about 10 years ago from what I believe was the original owner. If you don't know what this is, there is some information out there on the web, but essentially it is a Sprite framed Kawasaki 238 sold by American Eagle motorcycles. Super cool bike. It's a bit weathered, would probably clean up and be a cool "survivor" ride, or restore it back to it's nickle-plated glory. The engine turns over, I pulled the head just to see what was inside. A lot of carbon, but pretty clean bore. It also comes with two spare tanks, one of them the big version. This bike has some nice parts, REH hubs, Megurra levers, forks look like they might be Metal Profile, which were similar to Ceriani. Please look at the pics closely and ask questions if you have them. Shipping is the buyer's responsibility. A paypal deposit is required, but the remaining balance is to be paid in cash on pick up, or by cashier's check (check must clear before pick up). By the way, I also have an American Eagle 238 frame that the buyer of this bike can have if they want it.
