Up for auction is a 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560 SL Convertible.This was owned by a single owner since it was new.Always been here in California! Mechanically its very sound, with the original 5.6 Liter V.8 engine that starts right up and purrs like a kitten.This 560 SL has been driven gently with only 145,861 original miles.Transmission shifts smooth with no weird noises or slips.Runs and drives great! As all these late 80's Mercedes-Benz do. Paint is original and does have some oxidation to it (see all pics below)Besides the oxidation the paint is in good condition.Has a couple of small dings here and there, nothing major.Bumpers,trim,glass and moldings are all in good shape.Tires are good and lots of life left on them. Has the removable top thats in great shape.The convertible top is newer and in good condition. Beautiful color combination grey with brown soft top.Interior is all original and a very desirable burgundy color.As seen on the photos below there are some tears to the front seats.Included in the sale is brand new seat covers.I do know that the A/C doesn't blow cold air. A great daily driver 560 SL that is ready for top down summer driving.Comes with a clean and clear California title.The registration is under current non operational.For the winning California bidder I will provide a current smog test for title transfer.
