THERE WAS SOME KIND OF MISTAKE MADE IN NEW MEXICO WITH THE TITLE THAT I AM TRYING TO GET STRAIGHTENED OUT BUT IT DOES NOT CURRENTLY HAVE A SALVAGE TITLE. 2002 Volkswagen Jetta TDI. Immaculately maintained. Car runs great and is my wife's current daily driver. We have owned it since 2011 and have had very little trouble with it. We regularly get 46 MPG highway and 41 city. We are only selling it because we have bought a newer TDI. Maintenance done: Timing belt was done at 122,000 right before we got it so it should be good for another 20,000 miles. Intake manifold was serviced and control arm bushings replaced at 192,755. Tires were replaced at 174,120 with 65,000 mile rated tires and they are in very good shape. Front brakes were replaced at 167,341 miles and rear brakes were replaced at 192,783. Paperwork kept on all maintenance done. Issues: This vehicle has the minor scrapes and dings that you would expect in a fifteen-year-old, 200,000 mile vehicle. It never had the front lower plastic engine pan on it when we got it. The transmission slips a little in low gear under hard acceleration when cold. Other than that, it is solid, economical transportation and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Mileage is approximate as it is still being driven and may be a few miles over 202,000 when auction closes. Due to its age, it is being sold AS-IS with no warranties express or implied.
