Vehicle Detail

For sale is a fantastic green 1972 CB350 (Engine Serial # CB350E-4050813). I have the clear title in my name (my wife's actually). To my knowledge, it is nearly all original. It has replacement mirrors that were on it when I bought it. I replaced the flasher for a modern one and I put in a lithium battery. Obviously the tires aren't original! I replaced both the front and rear tubes and tires with period-correct rubber. You can still see some nubs on the tires. The tires and rebuilt engine (see below) have 43 miles on them as of today. This may go up a little bit this week as I take a farewell ride on it and continue to break in the new engine. I intended to keep this bike for a long time, so had a professional engine rebuild done. I have receipts for anyone seriously interested. The engine was bored and the first oversize rings were installed. Compression: Left cylinder 117; Right cylinder 122. My family situation changed rather rapidly, necessitating the sale of this bike (and 1-2 others, keep your eyes open for the sale of my 1973 BMW R75!) This bike has the patina of a 45 year-old motorcycle that has been stored indoors. It's a very nice example of an unmolested 70's era CB350. The chrome probably photographs a little better than it actually looks. The 45 year old chrome, as can be expected, has some pitting. There are some cosmetic nicks and wear-and-tear from 45 years of ownership. The right exhaust tip has a rust hole (see pic) that does not affect the performance of the exhaust. The right grip has an ancient drag mark (see pic) and a little rash from that is evident on the right exhaust. There is a small ding in the top of the tank (see pic) and a ding in one of the fork covers. I've tried to give a full and honest description of the minor blemishes on the bike. Feel free to ask more specific questions. I'll answer them to the best of my abilities. Please take a good look at the pics (you'll see a nice rust-free tank interior) and if you are close enough to me, come take a look at the bike in person. You won't be disappointed. This is a great example of a well-maintained early 70's CB. It is in excellent mechanical condition and starts well by electric starter or kick. With the engine rebuild, it is set to last you another 45 years!! Thanks for looking and happy bidding. This is a NO RESERVE auction. I will deliver within 2 hours of Chester Springs PA for a small fee. You can pick up as well. If using a shipper, you are responsible for all arrangements. On Jun-20-17 at 19:49:48 PDT, seller added the following information: I welcome all bidders, but due to the high number of non-paying bidders seen with motorcycle listings, anyone with less than 20 feedback will need to contact me directly before bidding. Otherwise I reserve the right to cancel the bid.On Jun-24-17 at 16:44:19 PDT, seller added the following information: I forgot to mention I have the original owner's manual and two original keys. I added a cold start up video to youtube. Click HERE for the video.
