Up for sale is a completely restored 1964 Chevrolet Impala Convertible, this car was the first I bought as a 19 year old back in 2000. Then I restored it over 5 years and used it as a sunday driver during the summers on nice days. It has been kept garage the whole time since the complete restoration was completed in 2005. During the restoration it was between shops. The engine is a rebuilt 327 with a 268 cam that is numbers matching. The transmission is a rebuilt 2 speed powerglide which is also numbers matching. The engine has a 650 CFM Edelbrock with an electric choke with Edelbrock performer intake manifold. The distributor is upgraded to HEI with MSD plug wires. The engine is dressed up with Chevrolet Chrome Valve Covers, chromed pulleys and a K&N Chrome Air Cleaner with a K&N Air Filter. The exhaust is upgraded dual setup with Headman Headers and Magna Flow Mufflers. The driveshaft has been balanced and new u joints were installed recently. During the restoration all front end components, shocks etc were redone. The wheels on the car are 17" American Racing Torque Thrusts with Yokohama 245/45/r17 tires. There is a sound system with a Pioneer CD player hidden in the glove box with a custom bracket with hidden in the front kick panels and upgraded speaker in the stock rear speaker. The car was painted with all the chrome removed. All the chrome is either replated or replaced. The seats, door panels are done in white vinyl which was custom ordered. Everything from sill plates to arm rests were replaced. The convertible top was replaced during the restoration as well. This car has been my most prized possession for the last 17 years and now time has come to sell it. The car is located in Richmond, BC which is 25 mins from Washington State Border.
