Vehicle Detail

For sale is a number matched original paint well preserved 1974 BMW R90/6, production date: June 1974. VIN: 4931451 with 70826 original miles and clear State of Connecticut title I will ship internationally. Please contact me at 86o-634-o248 between 9am-10pm EST if you had any questions, a fair offer or like to inspect this motorcycle in person. Please read the statement below before you place a bid, make sure you agree and would be able to honor the term listed. This fully functional un-restored well preserved 1974 BMW R90/6 belonged to a great friend of mine. He often told me how he traveled on this unbreakably smooth R90/6 all over the country, Yellowstone national park, Key-west, Grand canyon, and camped right next to this R90/6 at some random state parks for the night. The previous owner was right about it. This R90/6 is silky smooth. Transmission engaged all gears clear. Riding position is comfortable. On 05/18/2017 early morning, I was supposed to take it out for a short ride to ensure everything was functional and take some photos for this auction. I ended up putting 90 miles on it and didn't come back until 3:30 pm. I went to visit a friend, stopped at the cafe for lunch, went into a state park, and rode along the beautiful Connecticut river. I realized the biggest issue of this R90/6 is I couldn't stop riding. It relaxed me as I was riding it. It's simply, reliable, comfortable, and does everything well. This is the second time already. This happened once already on this particular bike last fall. I ended up putting almost 150 miles on it and kept it for the winter. This motorcycle has soul ! The reason for sale is I need room for upcoming projects. Things have done prior to the sale are: engine/transmission/shaft drive/ final drive fluid changed, oil filter replaced, valve gap checked, timing checked, new front/rear tires (well, 90 miles on them), front brake master cylinder cleaned/rebuilt, front brake fluid replaced, front/rear brake pads checked, and all the nuts and bolts were checked for safety. This R90/6 needs NOTHING, but a rider. It breaths very healthily with 150 PSI on each side, inside the gas tank is rust-free and clean, and semi-new anti-slip seat cover. It's a 41 years old original paint motorcycle so it has it's wear and tears here and there. It's a 10/10 mechanically and 7.5/10 cosmetically motorcycle. There is a youtube video for you to watch. Please search "1974 BMW R90/6 VIN: 4931451" under youtube. +++ PLEASE click the link from the youtube video descriptions for more photos++++ +++ PLEASE click the link from the youtube video descriptions for more photos++++ This bike comes with clear Connecticut title and Bill of sale, TWO keys, tire pump, and a pair Krauser saddle bags. The locking components on the saddlebags are fully function. The straps are there just for "periodic correct". By bidding and buying this auction, you enter a contract that you have read and understood all the terms and conditions of this auction. I reserve the right to end this auction anytime. I reserve the right to cancel any bid from any bidder. The motorcycle is being sold as is, where is with no warranty, expressed written or implied. After careful reading of the entire description, rather than making a potentially incorrect assumption, if any statement or comment is unclear, or if you have questions, please e-mail or call me prior to bidding. The vehicle is sold with no warranties expressed or implied, by seller. As with any used item, signs of wear may become more obvious under close inspection, such small chips or nicks, light scratches or minor abrasions, and other indications of normal wear and tear. I will not and cannot be held liable or responsible for these issues. Sale is final and it is "AS IS" Please contact me at 86o-634-o248, EST 9am-10pm if you had any questions.
