For sale is a 1984 BMW K100 with rare Krauser full fairing. VIN: WB1051109F0030268, with 10947 original miles. The bike was stored and had NOT been running for years. I will ship internationally. I don't usually buy K-bikes, but this one caught my interests not because of the unique and rare FULL Krauser fairing, but also low mileage. The 10947 miles can be confirmed as original mileage from the condition of the radiator, underneath of the front engine, front forks, wheels (no tire iron marks) and rear brake paddle. According to the previous owner, this bike was parked for almost 10 years due to the fuel pump failure. After he learned how much it costs for a new fuel pump, he decided to park it and rode his R90/6 instead, PS: a new fuel pump is included in this auction. Right after I moved it to my garage both front/ rear tires were replaced, front brake master cylinder cleaned/rebuilt, and both front brake clippers were cleaned/rebuilt so I could move it around the garage waiting for her term to be restored back on the road. The goods are ECU and fuel injector unit are in position, starter works, engine moves freely, transmission engages each gear clearly, gear indicator works, and all the lights/ horns work as it should be. According to BMW VIN archive, this is a BMW K 100 US (authority version) VIN 0030268: July 11th, 1984 - August 15th, 1984 - BMW of North America - Polaris metallic, 576; The complete frame mount Krauser fairing is considered very rare for K-bike. I have never seen one nor found any other pictures online. A friend of mine found a ride report from a 1986 magazine, stating the Kraure fairing would cost $1221, and belly pan was another $190. The front fender is also part of the Krauser fairing conversion with more aerodynamic shape. The fiberglass fairing and body panels were painted with matching color with red hand stripe. There are some cracks and surface damages on the fairing which can be seen from the photos. The con is the previous owner didn't drain the gas prior to put the bike away. The water went in and made a mess under the tank. He said he JB-weld it, but I do not know the result.
