Up For Bids: 2 1972 CB 500 for parts or restoration with title plus extra parts These 2 cb500s are both nearly complete, rolling, but do not run. They have both been sitting in a garage for the last 10 years. Both have a clean title. The green one I drove for three years and then parked it and it has been there since. The yellow one I never did have running. Both of the tanks are rusted inside and need retreatment. The extra black tank has only a slight amount of rust. Both of the handlebars are bent on the bikes, but a true handlebar set is there in the parts. The seat pan on the green bike is in good shape, but the seat will need to be recovered. The other seat pan is pretty beat up. The green one was laid down at one point, scratching up the covers. The other bike has decent covers. There is another engine block not pictured, yours if you so desire. There is also two pair of highway bars. Also included is a Clymer, the back of which is a little worse for the wear, and the original manual. The frame, tires, forks, tank, and other odds and ends are from another salvaged cb500. So to be clear, these bikes do not run. They could be restored with a lot of TLC. Or they could be parted out for some cash. Or a little of both.
