Up for sale is my 2002 Honda S2000. I purchased with the intentions of using it as a weekend car and to get into some amateur racing. My work schedule has become extremely hectic and with me starting a new business I don't have the time or space for it unfortunately. I have had no mechanical issues with the car since purchasing it. The motor runs strong with no leaks, noises, smoking, or overheating. Transmission operates smoothly and the clutch does not slip. I find that it the clutch does grab a little high for my tastes but i haven't tried adjusting it. The brakes are all new , and the tires have about 4k miles on them. Suspension operates very smoothly. I would be quite confident to say that the car is in excellent shape from a mechanical standpoint. The car has been very reliable and has not had any issues being driven on a daily basis. There has been lots of time and money put into this car to get it to its current state. It however isn't a show car. Since obviously the new body parts had to be painted the previous owner opted to dip the entire car a metallic blue. It does look presentable there are no major flaws but its not perfect. I would have done the same since the car will be used on track and no need to ruin an expensive paint job. The rear bumpers lower section has been cut out to fit a rear diffuser. The soft top is in good condition but has a minor tear.The exhaust is extremely loud and with the racing engine mounts there is a noticeable increase in vibrations and buzzing in the car. But at 270lbs of downforce at 120mph along with 100lbs of lest lift with the J's wide body front and 50lbs of downforce with the cr front lip an added 6 in of width all around you won't find and s2000 that is street driven that handles as good as this car does . Also has downforce rx7 side skirts as these are a better match the the widebody and were actually suggested to me directly from J's racings ( japaneses ) r and d department . Also the same guy who helped to set up the suspension on this car . Tanabe revel oil temp and oil pressure gauges mounted on the dash to the right of the cluster facing the driver .
