For sale is a clean example of a 1961 Corvette, including the matching hardtop. I bought this car five and a half years ago with the goal of restoring it, but have not gotten to it and am letting it go. It is not a matching numbers car -- the motor is a 327 from a 1967 Corvette. It has a single Holley carburetor, and a four speed manual transmission. It also has the limited slip differential. It has drop-in power assisted steering and brakes, which make it safe and fun to drive but can be easily removed to restore the car to its original equipment. The previous owner clearly took great care of this car. Stainless steel brake lines, a Flowmaster exhaust, etc, are clear signs that this car was well cared for.
