Listing for a friend up for auction is a 1956 Ford Fairlane 2 door(Body 70C-L23B-10D) which I know little about and the man who owns it knows less than I do. He bought the car and decided not to do anything with the car. The car cranks up, idles but has a miss. The transmission(Ford FOMOCO) 2 speed automatic shifts good and the rear end sounds good. From what I have been told the engine looks like a V8 239 with a four barrel carburetor . Motor sounds like it needs donut gaskets. The interior looks all like new and the carpet looks good. The trunk is clean and looks great. Paint shines but there is rust at the bottom of both sides bubbling all the way down.(shown in pictures) Tires look good and has stock wheels. Floor pan are good except one has a patch but it looks good. Wish I could tell you more but this is about it!
