Quit riding after my first sports related surgery and always thought I would ride it again, but have finally come to the realization that is unlikely to happen, so making it available for someone else to recondition and enjoy. Only a second owner bike (my brother was the first). Title in hand. Only 4,771 miles and the bike is all original. A few stickers on the front by the windshield and on the back of the side view mirrors that can be removed. While I enjoy riding, I am not a mechanic and will try to provide as much detail as I can. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best to answer. 1989 Limited Edition (Red/White/Blue color scheme) Honda CBR 600. The bike has always been stored indoors. It has not been ridden for the past 15 years or so. During the first few years of storage it still had gas in the tank, so there was some sludge that was syphoned out the best I could from the top. I took the battery out before storing and still have the core that will go with the bike so you can get the core credit when buying a new battery. As you look at the pictures you will see some bumps and bruises on the bike (courtesy of my brother). There is a dent in the back of the tank, a crack in the plastic by the corner of the windshield, and a rash on the side faring. None of the blemishes affected operation of the motorcycle. The ziplock bag on the seat are bolts for the battery to be connected and were put there so they wouldn't get lost when I took out the battery. Again, I am not a mechanic, so can't tell you what TLC it needs. I've been told by friends that I could break it up and sell parts for much more than the bike, but I don't have the time and am not qualified to do that. I need room more than the memories, so hoping someone else can give it a new good home and revive it to life.Bike is located in Canton Michigan and I cannot deliver.
