1997 Toyota Land Cruiser 40th Anniversary Limited Edition, No. 1671. This fantastic Cruiser has been in our family for 2 generations, with only 3 owners total since new (most recent 2 of 3 owner records are simply father transferring owner to daughter). We have put over 200,000 of the total 250,890 mileage ourselves and know the vehicle's maintenance and service history since it was just a few years old. Still have original window sticker showing 1997 MSRP of $52,020.00! The 40th anniversary limited edition model only came in two colors - this one is the beautiful dark emerald green metallic with two-tone tan/brown leather interior. This is now a 20 year old vehicle, so here are the known flaws. Inspect the photos carefully, and feel free to ask questions.- There is a small dent in the driver's door from a parking lot door ding (see photo of left side).- There are cosmetic scuffs on the front bumper corners.- The power antenna no longer works (it is in the down position, radio reception still works fine so never fixed it).- The center of the hood has weathered enough to lose its clearcoat (cosmetic, so we've never really been bothered by it).- Burlwood trim on center console, some areas of dash, and driver/passenger window switch areas is lifting around the edges (see photos).- The 40th edition factory original driver floor mat is worn where your right foot goes (see photo). Carpet underneath is fine, this is only the floor mat. Mechanically these Land Cruisers are incredible. If you're looking at this listing, you probably already know that. This one runs smooth, transmission shifts smooth and tight. 4WD high and low works. The truck has always been well maintained, regular oil changes, lots of loving care. Things that I can remember that have been repaired over the years include:- Truck has Michelin LTX tires with deep tread remaining (see photo)- New spark plugs, distributor cap, and rotor (2017)- New air filter (2017)- New power steering high pressure lines (2017)- New belts (2016)- New alternator (2016)- New radiator and hoses (2014)- New battery (2014)- New A/C evaporator done at Toyota dealer a few years ago- Front leather seats were recovered with original 2-tone color scheme a few years ago. A super soft Lexus leather was used, and the seats look and feel great! Super comfortable. Power windows and seat adjustments all work. Runs smooth. Drives great. No leaks of any kind on the driveway underneath where we park. It's just become time to sell this reliable old friend we call "The Tank".
