Vehicle Detail
2005 Honda RVT1000R - RC51, 1000cc V-twin. Great Condition after a complete run thru last year. Very Rare, low miles. Runs and sounds amazing. VERY Fast. Not for a beginner. If you are looking for one of these then you know what it is. Title is clean, clear, and in my name. 14,500 ish miles. Weather is getting warmer so I occasionally take a ride. Please contact me first if you have negative feedback or want to discuss shipping arrangements. Title is clean and clear and in my name. Many new Genuine Honda parts: Year correct OEM Gas Tank(last one made for this year model), professionally wrapped in black and carbon. ($700) Grips and Bar Ends Upper Triple and Lower steering tube with bearings Airbox and Air filters (both) New Battery Oil and Filter just changed, new plugs and exhaust gaskets Headlights and Bulbs CDI Ignition Box Rectifier/Regulator Plus: Sato Banzai Titanium High Mount Exhaust (sounds incredible, not made anymore, $1,800 new) Power Commander III Sato Rearsets 15/41 Sprocket Conversion Custom Undertail Full LED custom conversion lights Michelin Pilot Sport Tires <500 miles CRG adjustable brake and clutch levers Flapper Mod / PAIR mod Tinted Dbl Bubble Windscreen The negatives: Small dent/scuff on upper left front main frame under the gas tank. I have pics I can send. The rear cowl door is not factory. It fits and works for me, but I have a year correct OEM Honda Brand new piece which will accompany the bike. The 'F1' light comes on at random times. I have no idea why but it has ZERO effect on how the bike runs or rides. I've replaced everything I can think of, so it may be the flapper or PAIR mod or maybe the LED lights I added? Runs and rides perfect. The rear brakes are not wired to the taillights. The wires are there, I just didn't hook them up. This Bike is not perfect, but its a rare, good looking and very sweet ride. Things To Consider: I will not waste your time, so please do not waste mine with lowball offers. No I do not want to trade No I do not need your help selling, I do not have to sell. I will NOT sell this to a beginner or intermediate rider.
