1951 1000cc Ariel Square Four project, fairly, but not totally complete. I have come to realize I will never restore it, so due to cramped storage space, I have decided to sell it. I want to stress, it is a project, loosely assembled, probably missing some bits, and in need of a total restoration. Side stand, footrests, and some other bits are included. Engine # RD 676 Frame# SC660. The gas tank is quite solid, with minor surface pitting, but this years tank wasn't chromed anyway. The fenders are aftermarket. The standard size pistons are not in the engine, because they have no rings, and since I planned on re boring it, I didn't install them. I believe all other parts are original Ariel. I have a Canadian title for it, and I will ship anywhere, and do what I can to assist with shipping. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer, and can get pricey, so my advice is to look into this before bidding, but having said that, I would be willing to drive to one of the Buffalo area border crossings with it, for the price of the gas if you want to pick it up yourself. Payment will be by bank transfer only, but if it is picked up by buyer, I will take a deposit through Paypal, with balance in cash on pickup.
