This post is for my 1976 XJ6C Coupe. This is the very rare 2 door hard top model which was only manufactured for three years. These cars are rapidly appreciating in value and are gaining steam on the collector market. This is a rust free desert car with absolutely no corrosion on it. It has new paint and almost all new interior. The carpet, seat covers, center console, door panels and dash pad have all been replaced. The chassis has been restored and painted The Car is currently powered by a Chevy 350/700r4 combo and runs/drives very well. These are GM crate pieces, and I estimate mileage on the power train to be around 25-30K judging from component wear. This was a high quality conversion and was certified for California emissions. I do not know the outfit that performed the conversion but they definitely knew what they were doing. The HVAC system heating side works. The A/C is all intact and I can get the compressor to cycle, but that's as far into it as I have gotten. It may simply need a recharge, but I can not confirm that for sure.
