Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1982 RX7, 5-speed. I bought this new, and although I hate to part with it, I'm not getting any younger, and decided it's time for me to switch to an automatic. I drive it to work most days (not when it's raining or icy). It runs well and is fun to drive. I've given it regular maintenance, and it has never failed an inspection that I can remember. So here's what doesn't work: the clock, the radio, and the antenna. So if you need music, you will need to use your MP3 player. It also has a small oil leak somewhere, but I haven't bothered to get it fixed. It's small enough that it still reads 'full' between normal oil changes. The a/c works fine, but the blower only works on medium and high. For some reason 'low' doesn't work. Cosmetic flaws are these: the paint job is starting to look a bit dull, as are the seats, as you can see from the pictures. There is a small 'ding' on the driver's door, but you have to be pretty close to see it. The a/c vent on the dash is missing some louvers. The dash itself developed a crack a long time ago, and way back then I bought a 'dash overlay' to cover that up. As you can see from the pictures, you can't even tell it's there. Oh, and the black paint trim around the windshield is wearing off. Everything else is in pretty good condition. It has never been in an accident or anything. I special ordered new Kumho tires recently. Awhile back I replaced the a/c so it doesn't use R22 Freon anymore. So it should be in compliance with govt. regulations. Here is a video of me starting the car...idling....revving it up... idling...and shutting it off. Send questions if you need any more information. Thanks for looking...
