1984 Honda Interceptor VF1000F.27,669 miles with a clean Michigan title in my name. This is a stock/original first year 1000cc Interceptor. This bike was owned for a long time by a motorcycle collector as part of his Interceptor collection. It was purchased by my friend, then subsequently purchased by me a couple of months later. This is a ready to ride bike. It has been gone through top to bottom by a certified tech is in top mechanical condition.It is not showroom but a very nice clean example of the rare VF1000F Interceptor. In the past 50 miles it has received:New tires front and rear (Bridgestone Battlax BT-45V).Carbs cleaned and rebuilt using all OEM parts.New OEM fuel filter. A few fuel lines replaced.New air filter.New battery.All fluids changed. Oil, coolant, brake fluid etc.New fork seals.A switch was added under the seat to prime the fuel pumpAll work was performed by a licensed tech at a local shop. Flaws:The bike has some minor scratches, small scuffs, small paint chips. Normal wear a tear for a 30+ year old bike.Rust on center stand and exhaust.The exhaust collector has a dent with scrapes on right side.the bike had a fuel leak at one time on the left side causing some of the paint to bubble on the frame.There is a small crack on the right side of the front fairing that has been covered with a D.I.D. sticker.The clutch master cylinder reservoir has a non-factory screw tapped into it.There are some marks on the right fork tube.There is a suction cup mark on the inside of the windshield that I can't seem to remove.I have done my best to picture all of this in the listing.
