I bought this Bonneville in 1984 with the intent to do a ground up restoration as I previously had owned a Bonneville that I foolishly sold. I believe this bike has been in Calif. its entire life. I last rode this bike in 1995 and have stored it in my garage since. Last time I rode it was not charging so it's got a bad component in the original Lucas electrics charging system. Fuel tank could stand a cleaning. Right side covers need paint as shown in the photos. Motor has been regularly turned over. Metzeler front tire and Dunlop back are in good shape but installed in the 1980's. I have the stock shocks, 2 factory service manuals and a box of parts including some British Wentworth sockets. Bike sold as is. I've described the condition of this bike to the best of my knowledge but no warranty or guarantee is expressed or implied. If you are not familiar with vintage British bikes and do not understand what you are looking at then do not bid on this bike.
