There is definitely a very minimal amount of rust. This CJ5 has had a spring over conversion as well as GM motor swap, transmission, and transfer case swap. A new CV rear driveshaft was made to make up for the extra length and angle of the driveshaft. There is currently no front driveshaft in it so one will have to be made for it. This thing fires right up and runs very well. It has new plugs, wires, and Edelbrock carb. The lights and turn signals work like they should. The front seats are new as well as the seatbelts. I have a center console for it as well that I will put in. The rear seat will also need to be bolted down if it's going to be used. This is not a show Jeep by any means but would be a good starting point for someone that wanted to build one or just to have for the weekends or woods.
