For sale is a 2004 BMW R1150 Rockster, VIN: WB10318A44ZJ65185 , with 24494 miles. We rode this motorcycle from California back to Connecticut last October, Oct 2016. It was a wonderful 9 days 3600 miles trip. This bike made it without any mechanical hiccups. Only hiccup was that the bike was tipped over at gas station in New Mexico. Nothing really major but left some scratches on right side foot peg, ride side engine cover, gas tank and headlight bracket. That unfortunately tipped-over made this bike wasn't perfect anymore. Prior to the trip, a pair of brand new Bridgestone Battlax BT023 tires (both front and rear) were instilled, along with all the fluids, gas line connectors, new brake pads and air filter were replaced. Day trip were taken twice with this fun-to-ride Rockster after the bike was in the east coast. This bike needs nothing for another cross country trip, and I will have no doubt about it. As matter as fact, if you are willing to pay for the returning airfare, I will LOVE to ride this bike to you regardless where you are (after fund cleared, and in US of course). However, everyone should try fly-in-ride-out at least once in their life time and this bike is set up and ready for it. I can pick the new owner up at BDL airport if you decided to experience the new to you bike starting from the day 1. The reason for selling is to make Mrs. happy and I am running out of the room in the garage. The bike also comes with the BMW system saddlebags (same key as ignition). However, left side saddlebag locking system was broken so it cant be locked. We found it actually made more convenience to get stuffs out of the bag while bike is still running. This motorcycle comes with TWO factory BMW keys, clear CA title, copy of old registration, and bill of sale.
