I have decided it is time to let go of my long-term 1950 Ford F1 project. I got the truck in 2010 and have slowly been working on it as I had time. I have just retired and have decided to simplify my life and move this project along to someone else.Positives to this project:-Have driven this around my property without sheet metal. Runs.-Completely rebuilt 239ci V8 Flathead Engine.-Converted to 12v operation.-Full flow oil filter modification.-Completely restored frame.-Front disc brakes added, restored rear drum brakes, new brake lines and new emergency brake parts.-New radiator.-Rebuilt 3-speed top-loader floor shifted transmission.-New clutch.-New steering wheel.-Five new Michelin LTX MS2 P235/75R15 Tires on Five new Wheel Vintiques wheels and five baby moon wheel covers.-Cab and doors have been blasted and epoxy primed.-Most of the rust in the cab has been cut out, metal replaced and covered with fiber embedded filler. -Kansas title in my name.I bought the truck in pretty rough shape, as it was pulled from a field. It has most all of the sheet metal; rough but usable shape. The tailgate and bed is the worst part and questionable for re-use. The bumpers are missing. The original seat was missing, but I have found another 1950 one that can be re-upholstered. This is a good project, but be aware it is a project with substantial sheet metal work to complete.
