This is a 2006 Chevy HD 2500 extended cab, this truck was parked about a year ago when the transmission started slipping. The trans was removed and sent to the shop for repair and then never picked up. I bought the truck to fix up but decided I have way too many projects and I need to pass this one on to someone else. This thing needs lots of TLC but could be put back on the road pretty easy. I don't know a lot about the truck but I will describe it as best I can. Main things missing that I am aware of: Owner lost the keys and removed the locks to replace them, but never did, so there is no ignition switch or door locks. The battery is missing. The transmission is missing. Everything else under the hood from above looks to be in tact. Transmission Cross Member is in the bedBoth Drive Shafts are in the bedTransfer case is in the passenger front floor board Interior looks decent for a truck this age.Tail gate is silver and came off of a Silverado, but the truck is not a Silverado.Paint is white and the interior is gray.Tires hold air but are mismatched and worn The truck will not start or drive. It will have to be transported. I can arrange for transportation within 500 miles of the Dallas Fort Worth Area for $1 per mile. I will be glad to meet a transportation truck. Unfortunately I do not know how many miles are on the truck. I bought it from a mechanic friend of mine who knew history of the truck and he said the engine ran great, but he did not know the mileage. Please look at the pictures carefully. I'M NOT A CHEVY EXPERT, SO I CAN NOT CONFIRM ENGINE SIZE.On Feb-21-17 at 22:56:32 PST, seller added the following information: Ok, I did some inspecting and verification on the LS engine. The heads are casting 317. The information I found said that these heads were only available on the 6.0 engine. The VIN has a U for the 8th digit, that also indicates a 6.0, so I believe the engine is a 6.0. The casting number on the front of the block in front of the head looks to be E036 5 . This also appears to cross over to a cast iron block 6.0.
