First and foremost Thanks for taking the time to read my add,Rarity:This is a Shaffron 1998 V70 R model (Color CODE 435), only 1000 were produced for the model year 1998 and ONLY 260 cars had reached the US market, and ALL of the US cars were equipped with a four speed Automatic Transmission. Adding that this car has a 6 Speed Manual Transmission make it even more Unique!Best guess I've heard is that there are less than half of the originally produced cars still in existence. This beauty had been garage in the last 12 years before I bought it and rejuvenated.Exterior.Original Factory Volvo Gold Metallic (Shaffron), no signs of repaint, touch-up or repairs are visible , never been in a accident. All chrome and molding trims are intact. Excellent glass all around. See the pictures......they speak for themselves. Wheels, TiresA set of 2000 R rims with new tires are installed on the car, Original rims came with the car loaded in the trunk (can be used as a winter set) EngineVolvo’s amazingly reliable and bulletproof 5 cylinder 2.3 white block engine runs excellent. Freshly rebuilt from top to bottom ONLY with Volvo Blue Box Parts, all seals, timing components, plugs, water pump, tensioner, belts and gaskets. Intake was powdercoated for a better look and easy cleaning. Original Turbo 16T was rebuilt and balanced all with Original Parts and pulls greatly. TransmissionThe Volvo Manual 6 Speed transmission has all the seals replaced with Volvo Parts. smooth shifting trough all the gears. No synchro crunching, noise or problems. Smooth pedal clutch while all the components are NEW, flywheel(single mass), pressure plate, clutch, master & slave cylinders and hydraulic lines. Rebuilt bevel gear and New OEM collar gear. New front axles. Volvo Transmission Oil . Braking, Steering, AWD4 wheel power disc brakes have been refreshed and work properly. New brake flex lines, discs and pads(dustless green ones). New front struts with Originally to the car "R" springs, new lower arms, sway links and wheel bearings. Full AWD wheel alignment completed. Car runs smooth and straight.R'TrimThe R trim is the top of the line that Volvo offers on their cars. Leather and Suede ( Alcantara ) diamond stitched seats with enforced side bolsters, Aluminum center console, leather and suede steering wheel, leather gear knob, leather hand brake handle. Blue faces on the cluster. Improved suspensions for a better handling, dedicated rims design and body colors. InteriorThe nice Black leather/suede seat upholstery is in great condition with no rips, tears or abnormalities. Aluminum trim and dash is in great shape showing a few marks mostly age related. All Original R carpets. Nice headliner. Beautiful unmarked dash..Factory Upgraded radio head unit from SC-900 to SC-901 with working CD . Driver seat side bolsters show some wear, pass side and rear seats seems to be unused . Air Condition works properly (fully checked and recharged), heat works greatly do to a new heater core. NON Smoker Car.OdometerThe odometer shows 188000 miles and operates properly. ServiceFresh tune up, spark plugs, oil change, air filter, pollen cabin filter, wiper blades. New Battery. All the glasses are original and excellent. DMVThe Pennsylvania title is clear and all documentation is included. Fresh Inspection Sticker .No liens or back fees are due. Car can be registered in ANY state in US including California. DocumentationA thick build book with extensive documentation is included.
