Up for sale is a 2001 Porsche Boxster. 5 speed manual transmission in seal gray.Good:Engine and transmission: 1.Drives great. Engine sounds good no internal noises at all. Recently replaced IMS bearing myself with pelican parts bearing. Clutch was still good so did not replace. Replaced AOS as well and cleaned mass air flow sensor and throttle body. Recently Changed oil with Mobil 1 0w 40 no metal particles at all I have old IMS bearing still looked good. Dropped oil pan no devris in oil pan.2.Transmission shifts well recently replaced trans fluid.Body suspension:1. Recently replaced front drop links. Replaced all rotors and brakes, brake pad sensors and flushed brakes.2. Overall body looks very good paint is not faded waxes very well see below under bad for current issues. All exterior lights work headlights in very good condition no haze. No rust. Convertible top functions properly. Have only one key but remote function works. 3. Brand new tires less than 200 miles on them.Interior:1. Reupholstered seats. No tears or excessive wear in interior. Recently replaced climate control. Radio works and I have code but radio has a mind of its own when changing cd tracks and adjusting volume it sometimes does the opposite volume goes up when I try to make it go down etc.Bad:1. Check engine light is on. Does not effect the way the car runs at all but it is on. Ran code - error is in cam position sensor difficult to get to for trouble shooting replacement or might be vario cam sensor still in the process of trouble shooting. 2. Air bag error code is showing up when I scan it....but dash is not illuminating light. Has not bothered me has been like that since I purchased it.3. When I hit a hard bump I can hear a little rattling from rear suspension. It looks like I might Need rear drop links as well. The front made the same noise but when I replaced the drop links it went away. When accelerating hard and coming to an abrupt stop I can hear a thump in the rear. Aounds like motor or trans mounts was going to change as my next project not noticeable at all while driving normally. 4. Front bumper has some peeled paint. I accidently peeled it off when trying to remove the front clear bra.5. Rear bumper has a dent. Car is priced accordingly based on mileage and condition this is not a garage queen but can be if you continue to maintain and repair as I have been doing. I would drive car anywhere was going to be my daily driver while continuing to fix and maintain but focusing on other cars I have purchased.
