I have a 1968 Matchless G80 CS that has been in my family since 1978. I believe my father was the original owner and that the bike was bought from the storage of Berliner Motors auto repair shop in Fort Lee, NJ. That is what I had heard but have no proof; if anyone knows this bike through the vin/engine #s I would be happy to know the back story. Vin # C11467, Engine # 5437. My father did a lot of work to it and only ever rode it once; first time he rode it the throttle stuck and the kill switch didn't work and he dumped it in the driveway putting the small dent in the tank. Next time he tried to start it resulted in the notorious kick starter kickback and a completely black and blue calf! Has been garage kept it's entire life.Have PA title in my fathers name that has been notarized. I was planning to race the AHRMA vintage motorcycle races that's why it has the Renthals mounted with the original bars sitting on top of them in the photos. Will come with original bars, no Renthals. Bike is located in Brodheadsville, PA but I drive all over PA, NY, and WV and could possibly deliver. Contact me for more info or photos. Sold as is.
